The HarkIP-Modem replaces the telephone line modem where a TCP/IP Network connection is available. The HarkIP-Modem uses a TCP/IP socket for sending and receiving data via an intranet or over the internet. The HarkIP-Modem uses standard AT modem commands and is a drop-in replacement for the telephone line modem on any of our monitoring equipment. The HarkIP-Modem also has a alarm input that can be programmed to send an email or SNMP Trap when the input changes state.

The IP-Modem provides a realtime, low cost, bi-directional data communication solution for applications in remote locations where an existing network infrastructure is available.
